H2O is being shelved

H2O (Hills to Ocean Catchment Services) is the Business Unit of PRCA that was established to generate an income for PRCA through fee for service vegetation management.

The organisation has been struggling with the global financial crisis with much reduced budgets of its major clients.  For now the organisation is being closed down, we like to refer to it as shelved, until there is a turn around in the amount of work available for Vegetation Management Services.

 PRCA has applied for a Green Army Grant through the Queensland Government and hopes to establish a small team of trainees to carry out vegetation management around the catchment, and to increase the capacity of the area to carry out this type of work.
