The call is out for Volunteers!

Volunteers are needed on the festival day to lend a hand to a variety of fun tasks.  Click here to find out more. 

Festival Details 

The festival is organised by a cooperative of many different groups and individuals from within the Hays Inlet catchment (see map below).The festival will be held from 4 - 12 June, 2010 in and around the Hays Inlet catchment.The aims of the festival are to raise awareness of:

  • Where Hays Inlet is
  • Why Hays Inlet is important, and
  • Why managing our waterways is important to the quality of the Hays Inlet environment.

 

The festival consists of:

  • An opening night on Friday 4th June 2010
  • Clean up the River canoe paddle on Saturday 5th June.
  • Festival Family Fun Day on Sunday 6th June, where activities, stalls, talks and music will be held in one central location
  • Many activities throughout the Pine Rivers and Saltwater Creek catchments during the entire week, and
  • A closing ceremony on the night of Saturday 12th June.
